Privacy Policy

PhyziqAi ("PhyziqAi," "we," "us," or "our") built the PhyziqAi app to help you understand and improve your physique. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We designed the app to be private by default — your scan photos stay on your device.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to provide physique analysis and coaching:

  • Profile inputs you provide: age, height, weight, training experience, available equipment, goals, and dietary preferences.
  • Scan media: photos or short videos you capture for analysis (see the section below for how these are handled).
  • Activity you create in the app: workout logs, nutrition/meal entries, and scan results such as your physique score and per-region ratings.
  • Account information if you choose to sign in (e.g., Sign in with Apple or Google), which may include a name and email address.
  • Purchase information: your subscription status. Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store — we do not receive or store your card details.
  • Device & usage data: basic technical information (device model, OS version, app version) and in-app events used to keep the app working and improve it.

2. Your scan photos

Your scan photos are stored on your device. When you request an analysis, a photo is sent securely to a third-party AI processing service to generate your score and ratings, and is not retained by that service beyond the time needed to process it. We do not sell your images, and we do not use them to identify you.

You control your scan media. You can delete individual scans, and you can remove all of your data from within the app at any time. If you enable optional encrypted iCloud backup, your scan analyses (not the original photos) may be stored in your personal iCloud account; photos remain on your device.

3. How we use information

  • To generate your physique score, per-region ratings, and goal-comparison plan.
  • To build and adapt your workout and (optional) nutrition plans.
  • To track your progress over time when you re-scan.
  • To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the app.
  • To manage subscriptions and provide customer support.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your scan photos for advertising.

4. Sharing & third parties

We share information only with service providers who help us run the app, and only as needed:

  • AI analysis provider — processes a scan image at the moment of analysis to return results; does not retain it beyond processing.
  • Apple — handles subscription billing and, if you use it, Sign in with Apple.
  • Infrastructure & analytics providers — help host the service and understand aggregate, non-identifying usage so we can improve the app.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the service.

5. Apple Health

If you connect Apple Health, the app may read data you authorize (such as body weight, workouts, and step count) to enrich your progress tracking, and may write logged workouts or meals back to Health with your permission. This data is used only to provide app features. We never sell Health data, and you can revoke access at any time in your device settings.

6. Data retention

Scan photos are kept on your device until you delete them. Analyses, logs, and profile data are kept while your account or app data exists so the app can show your history and progress. When you delete your data in the app, we remove the associated information from our systems, except where we are required to retain limited records (for example, for tax or legal compliance).

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections when data is transmitted and access controls on our systems. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data and limit what leaves your device.

8. Your choices & rights

  • Access & export — you can export your data from the app's Privacy & data settings.
  • Delete — you can delete individual scans or all of your data at any time.
  • Permissions — you control camera, photo, notification, and Apple Health access in your device settings.
  • Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (such as to access, correct, or delete personal information). Contact us to make a request.

9. Age requirement

PhyziqAi is intended for adults 18 years of age and older. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide notice in the app. Your continued use of PhyziqAi after an update means you accept the revised policy.
